1.Should we pay children to read books or to get good grades?
2..Is it ethical to pay people to rest risky new drugs?
3.Should give cash incentives to people to donate their organs?
4.Should we hire mercenaries (private military) to fight our wars?
5.What shouldn't money be able to buy?
Waw.. First of all I have to say this video shocked me a lot, I mean, I knew money was the most important thing in our world, but I never thought that it could be that bad. I can't understand how people could be that heartless.
1. Pay children to read is the end of education system, here, in the U.S.A or in Rome. A child needs to learn for himself, he needs to read to learn and afterwards be an educated person, know historical things and have more vocabulary, but we can't control their mind doing this type of positive reinforcement because we're creating a bad linking between money (incentive) with the last fact, read (answer). They read and it's great, but they have to do it because they have a passion to find out new things in life, if they are not passionate with the world now, when will they be?
2. Well.. I think that someone has to be the first one, medicine needs to carry on and I think that it's acceptable when a person is in the terminal phase of a disease and he has no other solution he can't lose nothing so... why not? What happen if it works, then it's not a problem? I'm speaking about medical drugs because its are the best one, the other types are losing the race against medicine and its applications.
3. Of course not, never in a million years. I'm saying this drastic negative to protect the receiver because if he pay he would feel he's in debt with the donor, because an organ that saved your live can't be paid, because it has no price, and the donor safe his life. Soon after the remorse would begin and the patient couldn't be able to live in peace again.
4. I'm not into this world but I've been against wars for years, and I'm still against the way two sides kill each other. However, worst than civil people fighting against each other are mercenaries. Mercenaries kill people for money, they're not fighting for they principles, they're there because they like to be a murderer, and it's something I can't understand.
5. In the society we live I should say we can buy everything with money, we can buy a house, a son, a couple, a heart, things we shouldn't be able to buy. I won't say we can't buy love because someone could put the example of a couple formed by a pretty girl in her twenties with an old rich man that could be my grandfather. But there's something people couldn't buy yet. Health. It can't be bought, if you have a strong deep cancer or AIDS or another strange disease, you won't keep alive. I think the most important things shouldn't be bought.
To conclude, maybe people should start to think in what really matters because money comes and goes but there are things that don't return when they have gone.
